It is essential to keep in mind that each patient approach is case dependent, some may need less sessions while some patients need more frequent sessions as severity can differ. For example, every patient’s root cause of a pinched nerve may not be from the same cause.

For those with more tolerance to pressure, deep tissue massage may be more appropriate as it works on the deeper layers of the muscles and connective tissue. However, if back pain is acute, the best massage to start with is a Swedish massage.How Often Should I Get Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy needs are different for each individual. If you are going for an acute condition, 2 times a week or weekly is necessary. However, if you are going for maintenance of symptoms, generally once per month is sufficient.
